Hanukkah

The eight-day Festival of Lights commemorating the rededication of the Second Temple after the Maccabean revolt, marked by lighting one more candle on the menorah each night. It lands near Christmas some years and nowhere close in others, since the Jewish calendar doesn't care what the Gregorian one is doing.
